Sacred Guru Monk ring in solid silver, with Sacred Khom Agkhara Spells and Yant on sides, with the image of Luang Por Jaran, of Wat Ampawan, in Singhburi Province. This amulet is of an extremely small limited edition of rings which were made sometime pre 2549 BE, and were released in various sacred metals. Further editions were subsequently made after the success of this edition due to stories of life saving miracles by devotees who wore the ring.
The ring is also highly popular for meditators, and devotees of Luang Por Jaran to gain focus, and invoke the protection and assistance of the Guru in meditation, for success. Luang Por was born with the name 'Jaran Janyarak', on Aug 15, 1928 (2471 BE), at Ban Bang Muang Moo in Muang distrit of Sing Buri. He was the fifth of 11 children of Mr Phae and Mrs Jerm Janyarak. Luang Por Jaran was Ordained by Luangh Por Dee of Wat Jaeng, on 15th July 2491 BE, at Wat Prohmburi, in Singhburi. His Pra Gammawajajarn Promter was Luang Por Kim Heng of Wat Tammaram. Luang Por Chor of Wat Prohmburi was hgis Pra Anusawanajarn witness.
The young Luang Por Jaran was very fast to learn, and was very rapid in absorbing the Dhamma Vinaya, developing his purity of practice, and received the supreme teachings of his Kroo Ba Ajarn to become a wise, well behaved and compassionate monk, of great ability extremely proficient in Dhamma Dhesana (giving Dharma Teachings), and in the worldly administration of the temple.
For this, he was also known as a 'Nak Pattana' 'builder monk', who developed not only the temple enclave at Wat Ampawan to be the large and well cared for temple it is to this day, but also helped many smaller temples around the country to build necessary installations, Buddha statues and other charitable acts.
Luang Por Jaran was also famed for possessing the Makalee Phon 'Human Treefruit' Himapant Deva mummy in his museum, which was allegedly given to him many decades ago by a traveling Rishi (Ruesi) from India. Tests made upon the mummy showed that it is indeed organic, but further tests have not been allowed, in order to keep it preserved in its oeriginal state in the museum of the temple.
Pra Tammasing Burajarn (Luang Por Jaran), the abbot of Wat Ampawan in Sing Buri province, died at Siriraj Hospital on Monday 25th January, at 8.37am, in the year 2559 BE, at the age of 87 years old. His trajectory as a Monk and Guru Master of Vipassana is spotless, and his Magical Prowess are well recognized Internationally, as well being highly revered for his Purity and his long history of being present during some of the most famous and auspicious great Buddhist Ceremonies in Thailand during the 20th Century.
Awards
Luang Por Jaran received many awards for his achievements, and was raised in status as an ordained member of the Sangha on many occasions throughout his Ordained trajectory as a Buddhist Monk, up to his passing in 2559 BE. He was lauded in 2526 BE for his voluntary charitable acts for Buddhism. In 2528 BE, he was recognized and awarded Merit for his work in teaching how to practice Vipassana and Dhamma in the practical side, as well as the theoretical side to devotee.
In the year 2529 BE, Luang Por Jaran was given an award by the Nation, for having performed notable developments and charitable building projects on a National scale. In 2558 BE, he was awarded the Sao Asoke Pillar award, for his perfectly kept Sila Precepts of purity and renunciation, and in the same year, received an award for his achievements in projects to help the local folk of Singhburi, and for his Great Service to Society.
Promotions of Status (Samanasak)
The Sangha bestowed a host of status increases and promotions to Luang Por Jaran throughout his trajectory, as he became an ever more evidently well practiced and wise monk of National Repute, awarding him Samanasak raising his official status as an act of recognition, and reflection of the recognnition given from admirers of his real world practice. He received honorable status awards in the year 2501 to become a Pra Kroo Palad. 2511 his status was once more given extra title of Pra Kroo Sanya Badtr Chan Dtri batchelors degree for his tireless efforts in Vipassana Kammathana. In 2516 BE, he received recognition and another Pra Kroo Sanyabadtr Pra Aramm Chan Aek Doctorate, with the Royally given name of 'Pra Kroo Pawana Wisut".
In the year 2531 BE, Luang Por Jaran was awarded status of Pra Racha Kana (Bishophood), of the 'Chan Saman Yok' first level. In the year 2535 BE he was awarded the status of 'Pra Racha Kana Chan Rach' and given the name of 'Pra Racha Sittiyan Mongkol', in addition to his previous titles. In the year 2544 BE, he was awarded status of 'Pra Racha Kana Chan Taep' Saintly Status, and given the additional title of 'Pra Taep Singhburajarn Pawana Witan Gosol Wimon Tamanusit Maha Kanissorn Boworn Sangkaram Kamwali'. IN 2547 BE, he was awarded status of Samansak once more, of 'Pra Racha Kana Chan Dhamma' andf given the additional tityle of 'Pra Taep Singhburajarn Pawana Witan Gosol Wimon Tamanusit Pipat Gijsuntorn Maha Kanissorn Boworn Sangkaram Kamwali'
