Pra Khun Phaen Song Pol 2542 Edition (Song Pala - Wield Power) Special 'once and once only' Limited Edition series amulet, in Nuea Tong Daeng, Sacred Alchemical Copper Based Brazen Metal. The Pra Khun Phaen Ban Krang Song Pol amulets were released in 2542 BE, as the first and only ever Run Song Pol edition, with a very large and special Buddha Abhiseka Ceremony performed at Wat Ban Krang, in Supannburi (the home of the Khun Chang Khun Phaen Legends). This edition was sponsored and commissioned through the Head of Supannburi Province (Director General), and the Thai Buddhist people of Suppanburi.
The amulets were blessed at Wat Ban Krang on 12th August 2542 BE, during the first waxing quarter of the Lunar Precession. The amulets were then placed into the Kru Hiding Place, within the Chedi Relic Stupa, for a period of 99 Days, after which they were removed and distributed in a second Buddha Abhiseka Ceremony, on the 19th of November, 2542 BE. This is what has lent the classic 'Kraap Sanim' Corrosion surface effects which are usually only seen in metallic and leaden amulets that come from ancient burial finds, as the atmospheric conditions within the Stupa cause these irregularities to form on the surface, and lend individuality and beauty to the amulets.
The front face of the amulet is designed in the classic 'Pim Song Pol' we all know from the original world famous Khun Phaen Kru Wat Ban Krang ancient amulets, of immortal renown, which were found at Wat Yai Chai Mongkol (Wat Ban Krang). These were centuries old amulets discovered whilst digging foundations. The Pra Gaes Mala topknot of the Buddha, is elongated, and the body of the Buddha, & Jivara Robes, are elegantly fashioned, in the original style of the Khun Phaen Ban Krang Pim Song Pol Pra Kru Hiding Place Amulets.
The Khun Phaen amulet, when examined under the eye loupe, over 10 - 15 x Zoom, reveals a host of different textures, colors, and effects, as well as the classic roughly hewn style of a 'true to ancient hand made methods' Metallurgical Amulet, made with the thousands of years old methods of Ancient Alchemical Metallurgy of the Dtamra Saiyawaet Sorcery Grimoires. The Pra Khun Phaen is the Legendary Source of both the Khun Chang Khun Phaen, and the Kumarn Tong Magical traditions.
The Pra Khun Phaen amulet, has gained immense fame as the most powerful Love Charm, protection and Commerce increase. The Khun Phaen Amulet enjoys Great Favor, with both those who seek Love and Companionship, as well as those who Seek Popularity and good Business Charm.

The amulets were forged using the ancient methods of alchemical metallurgy, which produces slight differences with every individual exhibit, due to the mixtures of sacred chanuan metals tending to run into rivers in the forge, and separate as they are poured into the cast molds. In addition, the amulets develop their own inimitable
Above and Below; Close Up Macro Images of the Surface Details of the Front Face of the Pra Khun Phaen, revealing the highly varied textures and surface tonality produced by traditional Alchemical Metallurgy, and the Individual Attention given to each and every exhibit during the smelting, forging and casting of the amulets. The beginnings of the classic reddish and golden shimmer within the dark metallic substance is seen reflected under intense lighting, revealing the slight separation between the various Sacred Chanuan Metals in the Alchemical Admixture.
Below; a close up macro image, of the rear face surface, with Sacred Khom Agkhara NA code stamp. This macro image reveals the ageing details, and features of the corrosive 'Kraap' formations, texture, and other aspects of study of the Metallic Chanuan Muan Sarn and 'Nuea Ha' (inner information) contained within the amulet.
The level of depth and detail increases with practice, when gazed at for long enough under macroscopic perspective. This is a large part of the work of the serious student of authentic amulets, and indeed, a very enjoyable, refined art to acquire over decades of collection and experience, much like wine tasting, or other fine and subtle artful sciences.
The Song Pol amulets were made using Sacred Muan Sarn of a multitude of substances, including;
Various kinds of Sacred Muan Sarn Powders, such as reddish 'Din Sa', and black 'Bailan' tone powders, mixed with broken pieces of the original Khun Phaen Ban Krang Ancient Burial Find Amulets, to make Sacred Powder Earthen Clay Versions of the Khun Phaen.
Holy Chanuan Muan Sarn Metal Ingots, made from smelted Artifacts, Pong Tabai filings from Buddha Statues, and Magically Inscribed Metallic Yantra Foils, to make Metallic Versions of the Khun Phaen in Nuea Tong Kam (gold), Ngern (silver), Samrit (Bronze), and Nuea Tong Daeng (Copper).
The edition was blessed in a Grand Putta Pisek (Buddha Abhiseka) Ceremony, with a host of great Master Monks invited from around the nation, to come and be present, to bless and empower the amulets, many of whom were of the Supannburi Lineage, and/or possessed the Wicha Pra Khun Phaen.
Academic Note for Students of Thai Buddha Magic; The Khun Phaen Ban Krang, is the original Khun Phaen of all, for it is the origin of the whole 'Dtamra' of Khun Phaen amulet making, for indeed, the Pra Khun Phaen amulet was only made after the original Wat ban Krang hiding place Buddha amulets were discovered, and had thereafter been named by the people of Supannburi as 'Pra Khun Phaen' due to their cultural affiliation with the Khun Chang Khun Phaen Legends. In addition, the Khun Phaen received its Nickname due to the associated magical effects noticed by devotees who possessed one, being much like the power of attraction and luck and good mercantile profit, as seen described in the chapters of the Khun Chang Khun Phaen Literary Historical Epic.
One can hence also assume, that because the Wicha Kumarn Tong is spoken of in ancient Literature, including the Khun Chang Khun Phaen epic, that, the Wicha used for Khun Phaen Prai Kumarn amulets (Khun Phaen amulets which contain Prai Kumarn bone powders and Prai Oil), is in fact as mixture of an ancient Wicha (Kumarn Tong Necromancy), mixed with a newer Wicha (Making amulets specifically invoking Khun Phaen).
This is because the Khun Phaen Ban Krang, was of course never made or intended to represent Khun Phaen (the literary/historical figure), rather a Buddha Image, and the name 'Khun Phaen' is a mere Colloquialism derived from the Local Folk of Supannburi.
If we contemplate this fact, we can see that amulets in the image of, or named as 'Pra Khun Phaen', or Buddha Images in the five sided cut shape, which we now know, as the classic Pra Khun Phaen amulet shape, are a Wicha that developed, after the discovery of the Wat Ban Krang hiding place amulets. Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn (such as the Immortal Khun Phaen LP Tim), however, incorporate the very ancient Wicha Kumarn Tong, and the Wicha of Necromantic Spirit Invocation and Suppression Inherently, and are hence much more ancient in magical empowerment methods.
Always chant to the triple gem first before chanting to any amulets;
‘Na Mo Dtassa Pakawadto Arahadto Sammaa Samputtassa’ (three times)
Then chant Kata Pra Khun Phaen (3, 5, 7, 9 or 108 times)
Na Hlong Hlai Ja Jab Jidt Na Jab Jai Pismay Nai Mahaa Nara Judti Badtisonti Bang Gerd Bpen Na Aakajchaahi Dtiwadtappo Aehi Jidtang Bpiyang Ma Ma
Then take the amulet and tap your forehead or the crown of your head before leaving the house each day. For Khun Phaen Bucha statues and amulets, the act of pasting gold leaf is used for requesting various blessings, and allows for the Incantation of Khun Phaen Na Hnaa Tong (Golden Faced Khun Phaen).
