Kote Lek Lai Tham, a rare and sacred adamantine substance, is magically extracted from a holy cave in Kanjanaburi Province. It was extracted from the holy cave using the traditional cutting method with only a candle and a knife. In order to obtain the lek lai, the masters practiced kasina meditation in the holy cave while focusing on the fire element. Later, the lek lai was brought to the Dtamnak Dtak Sila Khao Or in southern Thailand. There the famous Khao Or masters performed a blessing ceremony to empower the Kote Lek Lai Tham. Hence, this piece of lek lai can be encased and worn as an amulet for attracting luck and fortune, as well as protection. However, it is also possible to use the lek lai as a sacred object of worship, along with other holy images on one's altar.

Kote Lek Lai is a raw adamantine substance praised for its purity. It is therefore a very rare type of lek lai, which also holds much more power than any other more common variant in general. This is also due to the fact that the lek lai is considered a kayasiddhi elemental, meaning that it has a deva inhabiting it. Moreover, due to the lek lai being consecrated according the authentic wicha Dtat Lek Lai, it is endowed with powerful blessings of the Khao Or masters to increase luck and protection.

Also, Kote Lek Lai Tham is especially powerful as a practical tool for meditation. The lek lai can thus be used to raise one's awareness, to improve one's focus, and to heighten one's level of concentration. This will automatically lead to a gradual development of mindfulness, which in turn can enable communication with celestial beings, using various psychic powers.

This piece of lek lai, among various other kinds of ritual instruments such as ritual daggers and magic wands, was blessed by the great masters of the famous Khao Or lineage; Luang Phu Khai, Por Tan Prom, and the laymaster Ajarn Pleng. Hence, the Kote Lek Lai Tham is considered an extremely powerful item of sacred value.

When used for bucha purposes, the Kote Lek Lai Tham can be prayed to request blessings of protection and wealth increase. Likewise, the resident deva dwelling within the Kote Lek Lai Tham will bestow upon the worshipper numerous blessings to increase the person's good luck and fortune.
