Kote Lek Lai Tham Ngern Yuang is a silvery type of lek lai that is attached to a rock which has a reddish teint and is very highly permeated with the rawness of the kote lek lai. The silvery ngern yuang variant is relatively rare to find. This kind of lek lai is especially popular among collectors of unusual and rare sacred objects. Lek Lai Ngern Yuang gained major popularity after the famous Luang Por Huan of Wat Putai Sawan used it to make various Pra Somdej lek lai amulets.
This piece of lek lai features red streaks and a reddish tone, which indicates a high level of content of lek lai permeating the rock. It appears in a porous fashion as it flows through tunnels and cavities in the holy cave walls, channelling itself into the interior of the rock. Since it is able to transform itself on a subatomic level, lek lai is considered a magical substance. Hence, there are several supernatural powers attributed to the lek lai, which the lersi hermits and yogis use to attain psychic powers.
The Kote Lek Lai Tham Ngern Yuang is a sacred adamantine substance, which is magically extracted using the traditional cut cutting method (with only a knife and candle). This raw adamantine substance is especially praised for its purity, which also holds much more power than any other more common variant of lek lai in general. Also, it is considered a kayasiddhi elemental, for it is believed that it has the mind of deva inhabiting it. This piece of lek lai was obtained through the great masters of the Khao Or lineage, who performed a blessing ceremony to empower the lek lai with powerful blessings to increase luck and protection.
Also, Kote Lek Lai Tham is especially powerful as a practical tool for meditation. The lek lai can thus be used to raise one's awareness, to improve one's focus, and to heighten one's level of concentration. This will automatically lead to a gradual development of mindfulness, which in turn can enable communication with celestial beings, using various psychic powers.
This piece of lek lai, among various other kinds of ritual instruments such as ritual daggers and magic wands, was blessed by the great masters of the famous Khao Or lineage; Luang Phu Khai, Por Tan Prom, and the laymaster Ajarn Pleng. Hence, the Kote Lek Lai Tham is considered an extremely powerful item of sacred value.
The lek lai can be encased and worn as an amulet for attracting luck and fortune, as well as protection. However, it is also possible to use the lek lai as a sacred object of worship, along with other holy images on one's altar. When used for bucha purposes, the Kote Lek Lai Tham Ngern Yuang can be prayed to request blessings of protection and wealth increase. Likewise, the resident deva dwelling within the Kote Lek Lai Tham Ngern Yuang will bestow upon the worshipper numerous blessings to increase the person's good luck and fortune.
