The See Pheung Metta Mahaniyom is a metta balm with magic powers primarily intended for inducing mercy ('metta'). This metta balm is made and blessed by Luang Phu Sin, who released the See Pheung Metta Mahaniyom in the Chalong Somsak Pra Kroo Chan Ek edition of 2556 BE. Luang Phu Sin is the abbot of Wat Laharn Yai in Rayong province. Together with Luang Por Sakorn, Luang Phu Sin is a looksit of the famous guru master Luang Phu Tim of Wat Laharn Rai, also in Rayong province. Luang Phu Tim, of course, is well known for his Pra Pid Ta amulets and the sacred Pong Prai Kumarn powder amulets.

The powerful See Pheung Metta Mahaniyom balm of Luang Phu Sin, is made from various sacred oils, magic balms and natural herbs. All of these sacred ingredients were then boiled in a sacred cauldron, using an empowered paddle to mix the magic potion. Since both the cauldron in which the See Pheung Metta Mahaniyom was prepared, and the paddle wherewith the sacred ingredients were mixed together, are inscribed with sacred yantra spells and Agkhara letterings, this all adds up to the magical power of the metta balm. And, as the finishing touch, some hair of Luang Phu Sin was also added to the See Pheung Metta Mahaniyom.

One can use the kata Aaratanaa Pra Krueang before anointing the metta balm onto the skin. Through chanting this particular kata, one beseeches the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha for blessings. Moreover, the kata Aaratanaa Pra Krueang can also be used to pray for specific wishes to be granted by the power of the Triple Gem.
