The Takrut Solos Mongkol, is a Takrut and Wicha, that has a long History behind it dating back from the long before the beginnings of the Ayuttaya Kingdom Period of Siamese History.
There is evidence mentioned of this Wicha found in an Ancient Bai Lan Parchment Grimoire from long long before the Ayuttaya period, but the most accurate and detailed information that has ever been found and researched to date, are found in the writings of the Ayuttaya period, during the Reign of King Somdej Pra Naresuan Maharach.
Somdej Pra Naresuan Maharach, was renowned for wearing this Takrut worn at a diagonal angle across his chest, when going forth into battle during the Wars of the smaller Kingdoms of Siam, which he eventually, conquered, and otherwise united to form the Kingdom of Thailand as we know it today.
The first evidence of this Wicha being recorded and used by a master Monk of a Thai Buddhist Temple as far as recorded evidence is concerned, and common folklore, comes from Somdej Pra Ponaradtana of Wat Pha Kaew in Ayuttaya (Now known as Wat Yai Chai Mongkol in the modern times, and is the famous seat of Thailand's Famous Chinarat Buddha statue, the "Pra Putta Chinarat').
After this, many Great Olden Days Gaeji Ajarn of High Repute learned and transmitted the Wicha Takrut Solos Mongkol along various lineages, which are recorded in the followiing Dtamra;
Luang Phu Yord was known for providing the information about the powers of this Takrut, which he said are manyfold, including the power to protect from Lightning strikes, Blazing Fires, To fend off Ghosts and Demonic Spirits, Curses and Black Magic. It protects from Wild and Poisonous animals. He also said the Takrut has the Power to make both Human Beings, and even the Devas (Angels) smile kindly upon the wearer of the Takrut, and of course, to Protect the wearer and his/her family from Deadly dangers and Accidents (Kong Grapan/Klaew Klaad).
The Yant Solos Mongkol is commonly known in this Century by Modern Thai Buddhists, because of its Great fame as a Powerful Takrut Yantra Spell (and indeed Pha Yant cloth) of the Great Luang Phu Iam of Wat Sapan Sung in Ampoer Pak Gred, Nontaburi. His Great, and now impossible to find Takrut Solos Mongkol, are amongst the most highly regarded and expensive High End amulets in the classic cllector scene, and their power has gone unquestioned for decades, and are amongst the top three most highly sought after Takrut of all the 20th Century Masters of Thai Amulet History.
The Takrut and Pha Yant Solos Mongkol of Luang Phu Iam is notably famous (and powerful) and recognised, for the placement of a pra Pid ta (Nirodha Buddha closing the eyes) in the center of the yantra. The rest of the yant remained unchanged from that of the original Ancient Wicha, but because of this addition and the experiences made by devotees who encountered miraculous events with his Takrut, his version of the Takrut Solos Mongkol was given the added name of 'Jakkapat' (meaning 'Imperial', or, 'The Emperor of all Takrut').
The Yant Mongkol Solos is a Manghala Yantra (Auspicous Blessings Astrological Sacred Geometry Spell), which began as a Magickal practice in Ancient Times, where Ancient Folk would usually inscribe these Spells upon Stone, or Cloth, and over the Centuries, developed to become inscribed on other mediums as an applied method, such as on the skin in tattooed form (Sak Yant), and on metallic foils which were rolled into scrolls, which is what we now know as 'Takrut'.
The Takrut Solos maha Mongkol Amulet, and the Maha Mongkol Solos Yantra within it, is not only inscribed upon the metal scrolls within the Metallic Housing, but is also empowered with a host of complex formulas of Kata (Incantations), according to the Ancient Wicha as passed down through the Lineage transmission deriving directly from the Ancient Parchment Grimoires and the Masters who have Guarded the Wicha as Sentinels throughout the centuries.
Pra Kroo palad Winay says that "Whoever bears these Takrut and Yantra Cloths for Bucha, will experience great improvements in many areas of their life after recieving the Takrut, especially those who make great efforts to chant the Kata Bucha. Such devotees will never have to know the meaning of the word 'poverty', and their enemies will lose to them, animals will not attack, nor will ghosts or demons approach. Prosperity will enter into their lives, and Happiness will follow".
The Yantra Cloth and the Yantra within the takrut of course are both Inscribed with the yant Solos Maha Mongkol, and have special Kata Incantations inscribed in Ancient Thai-Khom, invoking the Four Great Weaponry Spells.
The four sides of the Yantra on the Pha Yant, and on the sides of the Takrut Metal Housing, have the following Pali Kata inscribed;
สัก กัสสะ วะชิราวุธัง เวสสุวัณณัสสะ คะธาวุธัง อะฬะวะกัสสะ ทุสาวุธัง ยะมะนัสสะ นะยะนาวุธัง

Four weapons to protect against Demons and Maras, inscribed around the Takrut and the four sides of the Yantra Cloth.
The Yant Solos Mongkol is also an Essential and Important ingredient in the Wicha used in the building of the original Middle Pillar of the City of Angels (Bangkok), and has been a Wicha carried by the Great Kings of Siam since the time when Somdej Pra Naresuan Maharach, first founded the Kingdom of Thailand.
This Takrut and Pha Yant is hence, not only and merely a magickal Amulet of Great Power that is most recommendable to all devotees, but also, an immensely important and Historical item of Preservation of the Magical Tradition of Sorcery of Siam. One cold say that there is a living Museum of Historical and Magickal Heritage contained within these two immensely Ancient and Sacred Wicha Bearing Amulets.
There are a horde of different aspects and applied methods of Sorcery involved within the inscriptions and Sacred Geometry found within this Great Sorcery Spell of the Yant Solos Maha Mongkol, including a complex series of Astrological Designs and Invocations of a series of Yantra;
Pra Yant Jadturo Maharach (Yant Rorp Nai Sud - The innermost Yantra of the Spell, with 9 Channels). This Yant includes Numerology Spells with the Numbers 4, 9, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 1, and 6.

There are 8 lines of Khom Pali Agkhara Incantations around the four sides of the Ancient Solos Maha Mongkol Yant, which have an extremely powerful meaning. Each of the eight lines, which are composed of two rows of incantations on each of the four sides of the yant, are as follows;

These eight principles are the 'Hua Jai' (Heart) of te Wicha Yant Solos Mongkol. But each different Master may add various extra Incantations in the spaces between the bones (contours) of the yant design, to fill in the spaces with supplementary auspicious blessing. These additions can hence vary from Master to Master, resulting in variations of the smalled supplementary details of the design of the Yantra. Such is of course a mark of Mastery, and Individual Ability with Buddhist sacred Geometry and Spell Casting.

Ajarn Spencer wishes to add the following statement about his analysis of the above Yantra; "The above explanation of the Amulet and the sacred geometry spell, is so universally misunderstood in the sense that it does not initially or specifically focus on protecting from physical enemies, meaning living people, rather, in its deepest sense, the true enemy, which is mentioned at the end of the incantation ("Make All Enemies Perish"), means the "Enemies" within. This refers to the personal Enemies of wrong views and impurity.
If you read the eight lines of the incantation written around the Yantra, you will see how it makes sense that it actually protects a person to remain strong and pure in his practice of the Dhamma.
And hence, when properly practised, Will then be, of course, well protected against the hell worlds, and through auspicous practice, and avoidance of the wrong kinds of living, will hence remove you from coming into contact with the wrong kind of people, though not associating with them, because of keeping the Moral Precepts. Also, if you do not lie, steal, or perform other sinful acts, you will make less Enemies.
