The Taw Waes Suwan Statuette was made in 2 sizes of Loi Ongk Statuettes (Portable, and Small Bucha sizes), and were also made as Special 'Pra Khan' Ritual Sceptre Knives. The Knives were made in two different materials 'Nuea Nava Loha' and 'Nuea Chanuan Nam Rerk'. Taw Waes Suwan with two faces is the Ruling Deva of this Amulet
These statuettes are already very much of a rare acquisition, because they were not officially issued in the Publicized List of Amulets in this Edition. There were only 400 Statuettes made in 5 Cm High, and another 200 Statuettes made in 7 Cm High. Almost all of the Amulets were snapped up during the Ceremony itself (Our Agent was there and reserved these for us), leaving the whole series almost depleted before Public Issue.
The two faced emanation of Taw Waes Suwan gives Double functions of the two differing qualities of Taw Waes Suwan, because this Deity has two faces, one facing forward and one facing back; Facing Backwards Protects from Inauspicious Events or Black magic Attacks and Physical dangers, as well as stopping Money and treasures from flowing out or being stolen. The forward facing side looks ahead to Prosperous Development, and Auspicious Fortunes.
Taw Waes Suwan is Responsible for chasing away and warding off Yaksa, Maras, Ghosts and Demons, and protects from all enemies. If he guards over you, the Asura and other Monsters will not dare to bother you, for he is indeed their King, Lord and Master and his Kata can bind and control them (The Aadtanatiya Paritta). His crystal club punishes any who dare to risk coming near with thoughts of harm. The other side is the representation of Taw Waes Suwan as an Accomplished Meritorious Wealthy Lord, whose great successes and efforts resulted in his amazing wealth and power over his minions. This elevated him to a Deva in the Dawadeungsa level.
The Artisanry is of the Finest Quality and Artistic Crafstmanship, and the Nava Loha Sacred Metal Alloy is a Very Fine Mix with a seemingly large Dollop of Precious Metals adding to the sheen and Aura of the statuettes, as well as serving to harden and brighten the surface of the metal.
The use of Solid Silver to harden the Alloy and increase Value, and also Gold, to add Sheen and Depth (and Value), is a traditional practice in Thai Metallic Amulet and Bucha Statue Casting since the very beginning.
Size: 5 Centimeters High x 1.5 Centimeters Wide Base
Some editions use rich mixtures, and other temples or editions use less rich mixtures (depending on the resources of each temple and the donations of Muan Sarn they recieve for making Amulets).
The Sacred Alloy used for the Making of the Taw Waes Suwan Maha Bpraab Statuettes and the Pra Khan Maha Bpraab Taep Sastra Taw Waes Suwan Sceptre Knives contained the following Sacred Chanuan Muan Sarn;
Ngern Boran (Ancient Silver), Nak (Pink Gold), Dtakua Uan (Leaden Metal), Hlek (Iron) Tong Daeng (Copper), Hlek Yord Chedi (Iron from the spire of a Chedi Stupa), Hork Samrit (an Ancient Bronze War Lance), Hlek Khanan Phii (Iron to Obstruct Ghosts), Grich Tong Daeng (Ancient Copper Dagger), Sangkasii (Tinned Metal), Tapu Sangkawanorn (Ancient Leaden Nails used in Building Temple Rooves, from Ayuttaya), Khan nam Montr Boran (Ancient Bronze Holy Water Bowl), Hlek Nam Pi (a kind of Lek Lai), and a large number of Ancient Metal Sacred Artifacts, Amulets, & Yantra Foils.
"Dee Nork Dee Nai" (Sacred and Powerful through and through)
All of the 'Chanuan Muan Sarn' (Sacred Metallic Ingredients) were then smelted together until they became one Sacred Alloy, and cast into oblong blocks to harden. Then Luang Por Jerd performed Inscription of Sacred Yantra and Khmer Agkhara Inscriptions upon the exterior of the Sacred Metal tablets. They were then Empowered for a period of Seven Auspicious Tuesdays, before being given to the Artisans to Cast into the forms of the Pra Khan Maha Bpraab Taep Sastra Taw Waes Suwan Ritual Knives, and the Taw Waes Suwan Loi Ongk Statuettes. This method of empowering the base substance for the casting is called 'Dee Nai' (good stuff on the inside)
The statuettes and Ritual Knives were then given again to Luang Por, who performed a series of Incantations and Blessings, and then Opened a Ceremony to perform the Ritual of Calling the Taw Waes Suwan Asura Deva and the Kroo Ba Ajarn of the Ages. The empowerments continued for a period of Nine Days and Nine Nights. This empowerment fof the fully cast and completed Taw Waes Suwan Images with the assistance of Monks and Devas is called 'Dee Nork' (good stuff on the outer surface).
These Amulets were thus empowered as 'Dee Nai - Dee Nork', meaning that the base substance is powerful and sacred through and through, even before being formed into the shapes of the Asura Deva. And that they are also Powerful and sacred on the Extrerior and in the Form they have been cast into, with the Presence of the Mind Powers of the Taw Waes Suwan Deity Inherently embedded.
For the first Bucha Session when you bring the Item home, you should Invite and Activate it with Prayer. Chant the Maha Namasakara and think of the Triple Gem (Buddha, the Universal truth of the Dhamma that he taught, and the Sangha, the Beings who have attained the Purity of the Noble Ones). Think then of Luang Por Jerd, and his Power will awaken and run thgrough the amulet as Spiritual Energy, awakening the Powers and the Presence of the Mind of the Taw Waes Suwan Asura Deva, to Dwell within, and begin emanating Fortunate Blessings and Magical Protections.
