The Kala Ta Diaw One Eyed Coconut is a rare occurrence, which when found, is revered and locals will call upon Master Monks to come and perform a Blessing Ceremony, after which the coconuts, and indeed all of the tree itself, is taken and used for auspicious amulets and even the fruits and the young shoots are cooked and eaten, as a form of blessed food.
Luang Por Prohm of Wat Ban Suan made various versions of Kala Ta Diaw, with different empowerments and Invocations for each. Different Deities were carved onto the surface of each coconut shell, including this Pra Pid Ta, some Pra Rahu, and other Animist Devas and Heavenly Deities.
This Kala Ta Diaw has the Pra Pid Dhavara (Pra Pid Tawarn) image carved onto it, which represents a Yogi entering the state of Nirodha Samãpatti - Nirodha Samãpatti is the 'Total Attainment of Extinction', and represents entering into the state where all sufferings and inner disturbances have ceased. Nirodha Sacca refers to "the cessation of all the unsatisfactory experiences and their causes in such a way that they can no longer occur again. It’s the removal, the final absence, the cessation of those things, their non-arising."
According to the Buddhist point of view, once we have developed a genuine understanding of the causes of suffering, such as craving (tanha) and ignorance (avijja), then we can completely eradicate these causes and thus be free from suffering.
Maha Lap, Serm Duang, Maha Ud, Kong Grapan, Choke Lap, Metta Mahaniyom. This is one of the most sought after and powerful Bucha Items one can have for Increasing Good Fate and Fortunes, Removing Obstacles, protecting oneself from Physical Dangers and Black Magic, and Increasing Wealth and Treasures.
The Shell is covered with hand carved yantra Inscription and Sacred Ancient Khom Magical Agkhara spells. A Yant Serm Duang with Astrological Numerology is engraved into the surface of the shell.
Various sacred Na and Khom Inscriptions are written around the surface of the Kala Ta Diaw, and the Pra Pid Tawarn is painted with gold. The image of the Pra Pid Tawarn shows a multi-armed Yogi sat in meditation, closing all of his orifices with his many hands, switching off his senses, and entering Nirodha Samãpatti. The kala Ta Diaw provides Maha Ud, which in truth is not 'Maha Ud Pern' (gunstopper spell), rather, 'Ud Sap', Maha Pokasap Magic, which, like a one eyed coconut, allows things to drop in easily, but which can hardly ever escape from within the shell again. This represents the power to prevent any funds or treasures accumulated already, from dwindling away again. The Kala Ta Diaw is also Maha Lap Lucky Fortune Increaser, and Maha Pokasap Treasure Accumulator.
As to its true Inner Meaning in Buddha-Dhamma, namely that of Nirodha, the Kala Ta Diaw is a perfect ritual altar piece for meditation, and for Buddhanussati. The 'Maha Ud' power also encloses and seals the senses and their weaknesses to prevent anything from disturbing your meditation. Kala Ta Diaw is also known for its anti black magick powers, and the ability to ward off the evil eye.
The below image shows the proper way for placement of the Kala Ta Diaw, on a 'Pan Kroo' Bucha Tray. You can order a Pan Kroo Bucha Tray for placement on the altar if you wish by choosing the option when purchasing.
The Kala Ta Diaw is a rare and valuable altar Piece for Ritual Bucha and for Buddhanussati, to improve and intensify one's practice, and to pray to for Auspicious Blessings.
A great blessing ceremony was performed by the current living master of the Khao Or tradition, Luang Por Prohm, at the temple of Wat Ban Suan
Luang Por Prohm Has truly mastered a large array of different forms of sorcery and ways of invoking and inviting Devas, and spirits, to dwell within the various forms of animals and deities, and other effigies which Luang Por Prohm Has learned to master, and control.
Ritual Magic is no Longer reserved for the Elite Masters, and the Ordained Monks, and is becoming ever more commonly studied and practiced by Layperson. This makes sense, for one does not need to be ordained, or a member of a particular religion, to be able to develop one's powers of mind, and to study Occult Incantations.
The Dtamnak Dtak Sila Khao Or Southern Academy of Sorcery, is perhaps the most famous and long standing lineage of Occult practice that is still alive and kicking to this day, and has a large array of truly adept masters under its list of members, past and present. There is no lineage more famous respected or feared for its truly powerful sorcery, as the Dtamnak Dtak Sila Khao Or.
