This magic wand is hand carved from sacred holy tree wood magic wand, which had been collected and donated to Luang Por Prohm by his devotees. The wood is carved from a holy tree which is believed to be inhabited by a deity. Luang Por Prohm blessed the magic wand through invocations and inscriptions of ancient Khmer spells upon the holy wood. Since Luang Por Prohm of Wat Ban Suan is the inheritor of the wicha of the great Luang Por Kong, the magic wand is thus empowered using authentic consecration methods of the Khao Or tradition.

The magic wands were released along with various amulets, ritual knives and dagger, holy prayer water bowls, and individual pieces of lek lai. All items in this edition are considered extremely powerful, due to the individual empowerment given to each item by Luang Por Prohm himself.

Luang Por Prohm's wicha are indeed manifold, for he has mastered many different forms of magic spells, invocations, and elemental magic. His strong psychic powers and meditative skills are the result of Luang Por Prohm's adherence to the path of the kammathana forest tradition, chararacterized by the practice of vipassana.

These days, only very few masters and temples produce ceremonial instruments for use of the laity to engage in ritual practice themselves. In fact, it is only since the past three decades that Thai people have taken up various forms of ritual practices, which, in the olden days, were reserved for official ceremonies performed by ordained masters, be they Brahman priests or Buddhist monks.

However, the Dtamnak Dtak Sila Khao Or Southern Academy of Sorcery, is a rare exception to this rule, and its production and distribution of ritual instruments is therefore held in high esteem. Hence, the Khao Or lineage is famous for its truly powerful sorcery, which cannot be matched by any other tradition in Thailand today.
