The Mai Kroo Gayasit Dton Khee Dtaay Plai Khee Bpen (kayasiddhi wand with death in the butt and life in the tip) is a sacred sorceror's wand by Ajarn Chum Chai Kiree - the great olden days lay master of Khao Or, and the medium for the great Ajarn Kong. The mai kroo is honed from wood of the jackfruit tree, and is filled with sacred powders and a takrut spell. Besides the individual empowerment by Ajarn Chum, the magic wand also received the blessings of 108 other masters. Amongst the Thai masters who assisted in the blessing ceremony, there were also monks from India and Sri Lanka present to empower the mai kroo.
Protective magic fills the wand and can be awakened and generated using Earth magic. One can use the wand to cast magic spells of the metta mahaniyom and maha sanaeh variety. It is also possible to remove black magic with the wand.
10 inches in length
Ajarn Chum is said to have had a very strange ability to decipher difficult methods of sorcery, since he had a special mind that was attuned to mysterious forces. Hence, he made these special wands from Khee Dton Dtaay Khee Plai Bpen (a type of wood with a dead base and a still living tip) using the 'Dtamra Pichai Songkram', an ancient Kampir grimoire used for conquest and war winning. The Dtamra Picha Songkram is an ancient dtamra which has been used for protection and winning wars by the ancient peoples of Siam for many centuries.
Ajarn Chum, the great explorer of magical wicha demonstrated his prowess with visible acts of pure magic, showing thereby his mastery of true magical power.
Ajarn Chum empowered the wands with a number of different wicha and abilities. In addition, he performed special empowerments of the martial nature from the magical grimoire of war sorcery. The wands were originally made to hand out to soldiers and protectors of the nation, to protect them from enemies when they are out in battle or find themselves in situations of danger. For its miracle power, the mai kroo relies on the accomplishments of the Lord Buddha. Thus, its underlying principle of magic is based on having firm belief and unwavering faith in the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha, and to adhere to the practice of the five precepts.
The magic wands were made in a number of different woods, including Mai Makaa Dtaay Prai, Mai Makaa Fa Pha, Mai Payung Daeng, Mai Pradoo Song Tam Mai Rachapreuks, Mai Chaiyapreuks, Mai Maha Prohm, Mai Gamjad, and Mai Gamjay. The mai kroo were released in two different sizes: one being 20 cm long and the other 35 cm. Both models have a steel tip, which conceals the yantra spells and sacred powders within the wand.
The owner of the wand will impose fear and respect into the hearts of the enemy, who will not think to attack. Dangerous enemies that will not stop can even be killed and die by the power of prayer if they do not desist from their intended attacks. To do this, one has to summon Mother Earth to come and swipe away one's enemy, by inserting the wand into the ground and praying for her to come and stop the enemies of the Buddha and his followers, who are trying to harm the believers of the Dhamma. Pray that, if the person enters within your area to harm, that s/he will instantly be vanquished and lose. This makes the wand also very useful to chase off demons and ghosts. Similarly, it is especially powerful as a ritual instrument for making holy prayer water.
How to Make Holy Prayer Water ('Nam Montr')
The takrut within the wooden wand is designed to 'Khom Naam', i.e. forcing the negative entities to leave you alone; they will leave you through the dead end of the wand. Hence, one can point with the butt (Dton Dtaay: 'dead end') to destroy enemies, and when pointing with the tip (Dton Bpen: 'living end') one can thereby remove curses and black magic, and bestow lucky blessings. Furthermore, the yantra and Agkhara spells within the wand are full of metta mahaniyom magic for increasing happiness, health, and prosperity.
On Thursday 20 November 2524 BE at 19:00 pm, more than twenty adept masters in the Dtamra Picha Songkram joined the blessing ceremony of the Mai Kroo Gayasit wands. It took seventy days to prepare the sacred yantra foils and to make the yant powder (pong lob) by repeated inscriptions in chalk on a yantra board. This was performed at the Samnak Kunjae Saiyasart, and was finally completed on Wednesday 11 February 2524 BE in the cave of Tham Faed in Kanjanaburi. The takrut spells and special magical powders were inserted into the tips of the wands on the 17th of February in 2524 BE, which was an important and auspicious lunar occasion. The 'Tian Chai' victory candle for the initiation of the Puttapisek ceremony was lit at 23:19 hours. After the completion of the empowerment, the wands were then taken back to the Samnak Kunjae Saiyasart, and were released to the public on the 20th of February in 2524 BE (1981 CE).
