The Mitmor Daam Hanuman is a sacred ritual dagger for bucha and prayers, beseeching wish fulfilment and blessings, and also for pro-active use as a ritual instrument for bestowing blessings and imbuing objects with various powers, protections and magical spells.

The mitmor is made by the Dtamnak Dtak Sila Khao Or of the ancient southern sorcery tradition. The blade is inscribed with sacred Khom Agkhara spells performed by the famous laymaster Ajarn Pleng. The Mitmor Daam Hanuman received empowerments by Luang Por Prohm, who performed the Buddha Abhiseka ceremony to bless the items in this edition, including several pieces of lek lai, various mai kroo magic wands, Wua Tanu statues, and various other rare and sacred items.

The ritual knife is thus endowed with strong powers of protection against various forms of danger, such as evil ghosts and demons, black magic, and dark sorcery. The powerful magic of the Mitmor Daam Hanuman will instill great fear among the phuudt and phii (phantoms and ghosts), which thus prevents them from harming you.

Due to the sacred spell inscriptions of wicha Akom, the mitmor has great power to overcome imposed threats of danger. Furthermore, the magic power extends from the knife to its owner, who thereby receives blessings of protection which will keep him or her safe from harm.

The hilt of the mitmor is hand carved from Paya Ngiw Dam, which is a type of holy wood from a rare and sacred tree inhabited by a deva. This tree, usually being white in color, has large and sharp thorns on its bark. Since only one in every 100,000 trees appears in a black color, the Paya Ngiw Dam wood obtained from this tree is considered extremely sacred. The black holy wood is hand carved into the shape of Lord Hanuman. Hanuman represents loyalty towards his master, for the monkey god is a faithful servant who will do anything to conquer evil and injustice imposed upon his lord.

Sacred Khom spells are written around the base upon which Hanuman is seated.

The magic formulas within this ritual dagger consist of the eighty-eight Dhamma Khandas and invocations that call upon the Four Devas of Cosmic Weaponry ('Taep Sastrawut') to keep evil beings away. Besides the invocations of Lord Hanuman, the kata Hnun Taat See and the kata Agarn Sam Sip Song were also chanted during the empowerment session performed by Luang Por Prohm.

The Mitmor Daam Hanuman is thus a most powerful tool for ritual use, such as the making of holy prayer water to empower sacred objects with. Also, the mitmor can be used for sacred spell inscriptions on specific parts of the human body to invoke magical powers, or to perform excorcisms.
