His Devotees are reputed to have been so demanding of these Palad Khik, that they were never available elsewhere except for at the Kuti hut of Pra Ajarn Waet, because the Devotees would sit in queues demanding that Pra Ajarn Waet would carve one for them on the spot. pra Ajarn never got much further than carving empowering and handing them out as fast as they were made.
These are thus rarely seen available outside of the temple, due to the time consuming and difficult task of the carving of the Palad Khik into the traditional Phallic Lingam shapes, and then the Inscription and Empowerment of the Long series of Kata Chants and Invocations.
Because Pra Ajarn Waet wanted to allow his Devotees from further afield enjoy the benefits and feel the power of his Palad Khik, made from such rare and Holy Sacred Tree wood, he retired to the Prawaet Cave in the Mountainous Forests, and sat in meditation, and carving and empowering the palad Khik.

But there are as many stories of Kong Grapan comng from the Palad Khik's Devotees too. In Thailand, it is very common for people to be shot at in their lifetime, and most people may have experienced this, and so this is also one of the reasons why Kong Grapan magic has developed here so strongly (out of necessity, living in a dangerous place). It is also why we hear the stories so often of Gunstopping and Bulletproof Miracles, because it simply happens much more often in Thailand, and therefore, so do the Miracles.

Did You Know?
The Palad Khik is actually derived from, and representative of the Shiva Lingam (Phallic Shrine).
Above : Pra Ajarn Waet Surin empowers amulets in the dead of Night within the Cemetery.
These Palad Khik are made from extremely rare wood, that is not allowed to be cut, and can only be legally donated or found dead. It is thus simmilar to other protected things such as Ivory, Tiger Teeth, or bears Claws, which, are allowed if legally donated, found dead, or are older than a certain amount of years, such as antique amulets and charms, or those which were made before the particular tree, or animal was prohibited. A 50 year old Tiger Tooth would pose no legal problem, but one from a Tiger that died recently would pose a legal problem. This is how both Thai and International law treats these matters.
