This scorpion Palad Khik was made with the intention of raising funds to build a Buddha image in the posture of calling rainfall. Funds for finishing this project were not nearly enough. So Luang Phu made these Palad Khik with a scorpion in return for donations from devotees or merit makers.The magical qualities of this amulet are that of Choke Lap and Metta Mahaniyom. On the belly of the Palad Khik, are the ancient Khom Agkhara magical letters 'I Dti Bpu Si' and 'Rakhanadt-Dtang'. These two Kata are ancient Khmer spells for Maha Sanaeh, which are from a very ancient and powerful Wicha.The 'Na Gamasut' (Yantra of the Karma Sutra) is also emblazoned on it, for sexual Charm and Dominion over the Hearts of Others.
