Pra Putta Roop Bucha - Wat Boworniwaes Worawiharn (Bovornives) - year 2508 Buddhist Era. This is a larger statue suitable for larghere altars or even temples to use. Meditation centers or groups would find this a perfect size for a medium to large size altar.
The statues were made in 2508 to raise funds for the restoration of the shrine room and to take care of the medical needs of the Sangha.

A historical piece from one of the most important of all the Royal appointed temples. Wat Boworn was where his Royal Highness his Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej (Rama 9) passed his time as a Buddhist Monk during his ordination. The statues were comissioned by7 the Head monk of the Royal Palace Pra Sangkhgaracha and thus have the Royal BPR insignia.

They underwent a very important and sacred Puttapisek (Buddhabhiseka) empowerment ceremony and are thus authentic Buddha images which have been both blessed and empowered by opening the eyes of the Buddha in consecration.
