Luang Por climbed up 40 steps of the ladder to ascend the high dais upon which the Buddha is seated, and perform the inscription of the eyes of the Buddha to open them as the final stage of the Buddha Abhiseka chanting ceremony, after the chanting of the Dhamma Chakra (turning of the wheel of Dhamma), and the ceremony began, on the 4th June 2536, after a Trimester of nightly blessings during the rainy retreat (Traimas).
