Pra Putta Nava Racha Bopidtr Royal Jubilee Comemmorative Limited Edition Amulet, extremely rare due to only small numbers having been made, as well as because of its National and Religious Importance as a State Comissioned Amulet of the Buddhist Kingdom of Thailand.
The Pra Putta Nava Racha Bopidtr (Pra Somdej Jidtralada) amulets were comissioned in 2539 BE by the Royal Foundation, for His Majesty the King's 50th Jubilee, Celebrating His 50th year of Reign over the Realm and Kingdom.
They were designed by a Royal Artisan of the Grom Silp (Pronounced' Grom Seen'), in the likeness of the Original Somdej Jidtralada Amulet. The Somdej Jidtralada, was originally designed by His Majesty Himself and then given to a Royal Artisan to convert into a block press mold for amulets.
His Majesty then allowed a number of amulets to be pressed and distributed to the Army, Police and Air Force, and Navy and to Deserving Civil Servants. The Original Somdej Jidtralada amulet was handed out with a certificate from His Majesty. Each Certificate had the name of the person, birthdate, and date of receiving the amulet.
Included were the instructions to paste gold leaf on the rea face, and to Revere it all of your life. To do good deeds without expecting any reward for it. This instruction is also found in one of His Majesty's Lyrical Compositions 'Kwam Fan Suung Sud' (The Greatest Dream) from 2514 BE. Only about 2500 of the amulets were made and distributed between the years 2408 and 2513 BE.

These amulets hence emulate the Somdej Jidtralada Royal Amulet with Royal Permission and Decree, and are a work of fine miniature Buddhist Art in their own right. Made from Nava Loha (nine Sacred Alchemical Metals and Artifacts Alloy).
There is more Royal Importance to the story though, for the Buddha Image emblazoned in detail on the front, is the Pra Putta Nava Racha Bopidtr Buddha Image, which His Majesty the King Bhumpipol Adulyadej Himself created in 2509 BE, commissioning a Royal Artisan to make the Casting Mold, to cast this inimitable Buddha-Rupa, which was made then to donate one statue to each of the Provinces of Thailand.
The Pra Putta Nava Racha Bopidtr (Nava Racha means 'Ninth King', and 'Bopidtr, or, Maha Bopidtr' was a name used by Certain Important Historical Individuals when referring to His Majesty). The Name of Pra Putta Nava Racha Bopidtr can hence translate in essence, as 'The King Rama Nine Buddha-Rupa'.
One of each Buddha-Rupa were placed in the San Jangwat Regional Courts, and one statue was also placed in the Headquarters of the Military Forces.

This Somdej Jidtralada Pra Putta Nava Racha Bopidtr Amulet is an Auspicious Amulet for Serm Duang, and Buddhanussadti (Remembrance of the Buddha's Merits, and to Practice Hard Oneself), Klaew Klaad, Kong Grapan Chadtri, Metta Mahaniyom Mercy Charm, blessed in a Major Buddha Abhiseka Ceremony with a large number of Important Adept Master Monks.
It is a perfect Family Heirloom Amulet, that can be passed on down through further generations to your descendants, and can only increase in beauty and sacredness as it ages, for the Nava Loha coin is a form of Buddha Amulet that will endure for Centuries Onwards into the Future, and is not easily destroyed or defaced.
It is also hence seen as meritorious act when Buddhists wear and preserve the existence of evidence of the fact that there was once an Enlightened Buddha who walked the surface of the Earth, by wearing amulets and keeping the Image of the Buddha in existence, with amulets like this, which archeologists will surely find again long after we have become ashes that are blown to the four winds.
