Presenting a classic and highly favoured edition, Pra Somdej Maha Pratana Hlang Yant Duang Run Rap Sap Nuea Pong Nga Chang Boran 2539 BE from Luang Phu Kampant Kosabanyo, of Wat Tat Maha Chai, in Nakorn Panom.
The Pra Somdej Maha Pratana amulet was released in the year 2539 BE, in Buddha Abhiseka Blessing Ceremony, with the Incantations of Luang Phu Kampant and other Masters, and is a highly revered and very rare amulet, extremely preferred for the fact the Muan Sarn Sacred Powder Clay was made with Nga Chang Boran Ancient Ivory Powders, and the famous Sacred Bpathawi Tat Earth Elemental Substance, for which Luang Phu was so famous for. Nga Chang Boran powders provide powerful Maha Amnaj, Maha Lap, Kong Grapan Chadtri and Klaew Klaad Power to the amulet, and distinguish the Sacred Clay above other Sacred Powder amulets.
The rear face of the amulet bears the Yant Duang Maha Pratana Yantra of great Wish Fulfilment, and the name of its maker, Luang Phu Kampant Kosabanyo, Wat Tat Maha Chai. The Yant is one of two Yant, which were the Signature Yant Kroo of Luang Phu Kampant, being the Yant Duang Maha Pratana, and the Yant Duang Maha Sethee The Pra Somdej Maha Pratana is an immensely prized and sought after amulet from this Great Elder Master Monk (now deceased).
This model is pressed in Nuea Pong Maha Lap, with Pong Nga Chang Ancient Ivory, and Bpathawi Tat. The Bpathawi Tat Elemental Kayasiddhi substance, is a special Muan Sarn of Luang Phu, which was intuitively discovered and retained by Luang Phu Kampant, who asked his assistants to recover the Kayasiddhi Naga Elemental substance from the bottom of a secret location in the Maekhong river.
The Bpathawi Tat is a substance that is formed magically through the air elementals, and is a treasure which the Naga Kings of the Bodhala Underworld donated to Luang Phu Kampant for use in his amulets. The Bpathawi Tat possesses the power to protect those who possess it, with an even higher power than that of Lek Lai.
'Pradech Prakun Pra Suntora Tammagorn (Luang Phu Kampant Kosabanyo), was the abbot of Wat Tat Maha Chai in Nakorn Panom, and was one of the Great Elder Thaera Ajarn of the Thai Sangha.
Luang Phu Kampant was born over 100 years ago, in 2458 BE. he was ordained into the Sangha as a Samanera Monk in the year 2475 BE, and Ordained as a fully fledged Bhikkhu 3 years later in 2478 BE. He then studied under his Upachaya Ajarn Cheam, at wat Sri Bun Rueang, in Nakorn Panom. He studied the sacred ancient Agkhara scripts used for Wicha Akom Sorcery and for the Buddhist Scriptures for three years.
In 2482 BE his Mother passed away, and Luang Phu disrobed to take care of the family, until they could fend for themselves, after which he re-ordained in the year 2488. After this, he went to practice Tudong Forest Wandering, in the Province of Loey. It was here that he met two other monks, and joined them to learn from a 'Chi Ba Khaw' Ruesi (Forest Hermit white-robed Sage), and gathered experience in the Kammathana Methods which lead not only to Dhamma Wisdom, but also to Magical Prowess.
After some months of practice and study, Luang Phu Kampant then learned Dhamma Lessons from the Great Ajarn Sao, who came to teach at Wat Pone Mueang in Nakorn Sawan. Ajarn Sao taught Luang Phu, how the breath was the most essential aspect of the living being, and that if you stop food, you can still survive for a long time. if you stop drinking water, you will not survive for as long, but can still endure a period of time without dying. But if you stop breathing, you will most certainly die immediately. Hence, he was taught that it is the breath which should be the anchor for Kammathana Mindfulness practice, and that in addition, the Mindfulness Practice should be supported by a deep understanding and constant vigil of the 5 Khandas (Five Aggregates).
Luang Phu Kampant stayed with Ajarn Sao for a period of one year, learning Dhamma Theory and Practice of the Vipassana Kammathana methods, after which uang Phu wanderd off on Tudong, to the province of Loey again. After one year wandering the province, he left to the Province of Chiang Rai, where he stayed in the forests and temples top gather knowledge, Wicha and wisdom.
After some months, his father passed away, and Luang Phu returned to Nakorn Panom for the funeral. After the funeral, Luang Phu wandered the Provinces of Nakorn Panom, Sakon Nakorn, Udorn Thani, and Nong Kai, as well as crossing over into Laos. After this, Luang Phu returned on the request of locals of his home area, to reside at the temple to give guidance and blessings.
He remained for three years there, after which he set out on Tudong again, and remained as a wandering mendicant forest monk, until he reached the age of 40. Luang Phu then gave up his Mendicant wandering, to begin building temples, and schools of Dhamma for Monks. he succeeded in a great number of projects which have opened up the chance for Bhikkhus and Practitioners to study and attain their Masters degrees in Dhamma Pariyatti, all over the region at various temples, and performed many great deeds of constructing necessary facilities for local devotees to lessen their sufferings, such as schools and other ancilliary facilities.
He became the abbot of Wat tat Maha Chai in 2508 BE, and the Bishop of the Maha Chai County and Municipality. He became the Jao Samnak Dhamma Pali Sanskrit master Professor of education in the year 2519.
In truth, the list of his attainments, achievements and meritorious deeds are long to list. Needless to say, we are speaking of a great monk of the Thai Arya Sangha, who is full of meritorious accomplishments, and who is one of the most highly revered Masters.
Luang Phu Kampant passed away peacefully in the year 3546 BE after more than 70 years in the Sangha as a Buddhist Monk, at the age of 88. He created a large pantheon of amulets over the decades, all of which are well documented and accepted in the amulet appreciation societies, and are rare to find.
