These Pra Somdej Nang Paya amulets are some of the many Flagship models of this Years most awaited series of special Amulets from LP Jaran. Apart from the Somdejs a range of Pra Nang Paya, Monks Coins, Pra Kring and Pra Chayawat (a smaller form of Pra Kring) Amulets were issued in this 'Niramit Choke' series edition. This edition of amulets from Luang Por Jaran of Wat Ampawan are some of the most incredibly beautiful amulets to be found. The design factors are extremely pleasing to the eye and generate a true feeling of sacredness. Such Eloquent shape and form of the Buddha and his Lotus Throne. The solid silver amulet is treated with a fine Ya Rachawadee enamel glaze in red and golden yellow.
The robes of the Buddha are fine and elegant, their folds falling in a graceful poise over the torso of the Buddha, covering the left breast, and falling under the right breast. The legs are wide in typical Sukhothai style, and the arms are strong and thick, also a typical Sukhothai design factor. The Prages Mala (topknot flames) are in Sukhothai style, the ears are elongated. In truth, this Image is a classic modern Ratanakosin interpretation of Sukhothai Theravada Buddhist art with a slight fusion of Tibetan Mahayana Symbology intermixed (the 2 Deer and Dhamma wheel on the rear face). The Dhamma Wheel on the rear face has a nice innovation with a Sacred U character in Khom Agkhara which spirals out as an 'Anulome' to join the eight spokes of the Dhamma wheel.
Size; 3.5 x 2.5 Centimeters
The Kata 'Ma A U' in Khom Agkhara is emblazoned on the top of the rear face, below the Sacred Yant Putsoor of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. The rear face has a green Ya Rachawadee enamel glaze.
Along with these Pra Somdej Nang Paya amulet, The Pra Chayawat Niramit Choke was released with the larger 'Pra Kring Niramit Choke' Buddha images in this 'Run Niramit Choke' (Conjuring Luck and Fortune edition). In addition a range of Pra Somdej Niramit Choke coins in the same style as the range of Nang Paya, Rian Noon Hlang Tao, and Rian Chalu Lai amulets were issued, all of which are incredibly beautiful and of fine craftsmanship, and quality materials.
These Kring and Chayawat amulets were made in six different sacred metals; 'Nuea Tong Kam' (solid gold), 'Nuea Nava Loha Gae Ngern' (nine sacred metals with a high ratio of solid gold), 'Nuea Ngern' (solid silver') 'Nuea Nava Loha Gae Ngern' (nine sacred metals with a high ratio of solid silver), 'Nuea Tong Tip Chup Satin (satin cotaed) and 'Nuea Tong Tip' (a mixture of sacred brass metals from relics, temple bells, previous editions of amulets, yantra foils etc). The Pra Chayawat amulets are in effect smaller versions of the Pra Kring, but do not have a Kring, for which reason they are called 'Pra Chayawat, and not 'Pra Kring'. Their form is essentially the same otherwise, except that they are smaller, and very fitting for ladies or children to wear.
This Pra Somdej Nang Paya Niramit Choke comes with original collectors box from the temple.
