The Takrut is composed ofr the ancient Vedic Yant Mae Yua Mueang (Kali Impaled on the Phallic Pillar).

Kali as 'Mae Yua'

The Thai word 'Mae' means 'Mother', but the word 'Yua', can mean many things, depending on which other noun or verb it is used with. All of the meanings howerver, mean ' To Incite'.
