Presenting an early-era rarity, the the Pra Khanta Kumarn Maha Taep Nak Rob Sawan Taepa Jao Haeng Songkram 2545 BE First Edition amulet from Kroo Ba Krissana Intawano . Hand Painted Skanda War God of Shiva Deity amulet, this version being with blue pants, and green-purple peacock arch. The amulet measures 3.5 x 5 Cm and can be prayed to in the same way as all Kumarn Tong. A popular amulet for wealth attraction, promotion or elevation of status, business success and lottery.
The Pra Khanta Kumarn amulet uses a Wicha that has its origins in Hinduism. The Khanta Kumarn is a Hindu Wargod Deity who the ancient folk of India have revered since ancient times over thousands of years, up to the present day. The Blessings of the Pra Khanta Kumarn are highly reputed for bringing success and victory in one's endeavours, and great wealth accumulation.
The Pra Khanta Kumarn amulet depicts a Handsome Young Man who is Brave and Able in battle against Combatants in Wartime. The Deity is designed in exquisitely detailed hand painted colours, within a decorative arch that hints at the shape of two Peackocks leaning in towards the Khanta Kumarn. In Hindu Legend, the God Skanda rides a peacock called Paravani, and this is what is represented in the arched frame border pattern, The Kumarn is standing over the Pra Rahu Asura Deva Eclipse God. In most cases, the Pra Khanta Kumarn would be featured holding weaponry, as he was in some legends a fierce mountain dwelling war god, with bloodbthirsty instincts.
But in this version, his victories should be financial and professional and social, of status and wealth, more than the art of war. Hence, this emanation holds a bundle of gold instead of weaponry.
Who Is Pra Khanta Kumarn?
In Thai Legend, the Pra Khanta Kumarn Deity is the son of the God Shiva and the Goddess Kali-Parvati, and hence a Princely God of the Highest Celestial Heavens. Pra Khanta Kumarn is the Head of the Armies of the Heavens, when needed to subdue the Asura Demons who attack the Heavens. In ancient Hindu Legend, there are many different tales of the God Skanda (Pra Khanta Kumarn), only one of which attributes the God to being the son of Shiva. There are many forms or representations of the Deity.
In all legends however, the most common feature of Skanda was his youth. He is India's version of what would be known later in Europe as Peur Aeturnus - the eternal youth, representing not chronological age but an attitude of optimism and joyful vigor. Sculptural representations always show him as Trishikin - having three locks of hair, the mark of the eternal youth -- Kumara.

The Pra Khanta Kumarn of Kroo Ba Krissana was created in the year 2545 BE in its first edition, after which a further 5 editions were made, which were all released within 5 years. to raise funds to complete the building of an Uposatha shrine room of Wat Nong Jote temple, which was completed in the year 2550 BE.
This particular batch was kepะ in the Samnak Weluwan with Kroo Ba Krissana for three years after the first empowerment, to receive a further three years of constant nightly empowerment from Kroo Ba. After which, Kroo Ba signed the rear faces with his name, and presented the batch to the committee in its entirety for distribution.
Kroo Ba Krissana Intawano is one of Thailand's most sought after Masters for his beautiful miniature fine art in the form of his amulets, which are both aesthetically pleasing, as well as full of Metta Mahaniyom Maha Pokasap and Maha Lap Magic. Kroo Ba Krissana Intawano is also an accomplished Sak Yant Master, and renowned for his Holy water Blessings. He is also very respected for his accomplishments in preserving Buddhism, such as the many expansions and construction of edifices for his and other temples he has brought into being.
The amulets of Kroo Ba Krissana Intawano are not only seen to be powerful amulets for Metta Maha Lap Kaa Khaay Siang Choke, and Maha Sanaeh - bringing lucky fortunes to gambling exploits, seducing lovers and customers, and improving one's Karma in general. Kroo Ba Krissana's amulets have already been tried and tested.
Their popularity needs little explanation, for this Master and his amulets have their own following who know about the benefits and beauty of his Wadthumongkol (auspicious amulets) and Krueang Rang (occult magical items). To make and empower amulets, Kroo Ba Krissana uses a very secret and mysterious Wicha named 'Montr Teerayaan'.
Kroo Ba Krissana studied this Wicha under his Kroo Ba Ajarn Phu Ruesi Bangbod in Laos. Besides the unique Wicha Montr Teerayan, Kroo Ba Krissana studied a number of many other Wicha in Cambodia. It took him about twenty years of intensive study and practice to fully master the teachings of the various great masters he stayed with during his time in Cambodia.
Nowadays, the amulets of Kroo Ba Krissana Intawano are known around the world both for their immense power and their exquisitely detailed artistic design, and their individuality, each amulet being different in its fine details. Since the year 2015-2016, demand for the amulets of Kroo Ba Krissana increased at a massive rate, and many different sponsors made a lot of different editions, to cater for the rise in demand. The post 2556 BE Editions were hence made in much larger numbers than the Pre 2556 BE editions.
This has caused the older editions to become more highly valued and sought after, due to their rarity. His charitable editions of amulets have often served to finance the restorations and expansion projects of other poor temples around Thailand, and his tireless diligence to work for Buddhism is exemplary.
One can hence say, that all editions up to 2555 BE can be considered the rarest and most highly valued, with increasing rarity as their numbers deplete, as increasing numbers of devotees enter into collectorship of the amulets of Kroo Ba Krissana Intawano. Of course however, every year sees some very special Ongk Kroo amulets and limited series collector pieces released, even in the present day. it is part of Kroo Ba's cult tradition to produce Masterpiece limited series models, and this tradition continues every year. Having said this however, the Early editions are now almost impossible to find, and are the pride and joy of the serious collector-devotee.
The post 2555 BE editions provide adequate availability for the ever increasing numbers of foreign devotees, to have a chance receive Kru Ba's blessings and wear one of his beautifully designed originally painted amulets, as the early editions like these, become ever more impossible to encounter available anywhere. But ever fewer devotees will have the chance to own an amulet from the early editions, which were given extreme personal attention, with much more limited numbers made than recent editions, and the most diligent empowerment sessions of all, are found in the early era amulets.
