The Pra Rahu Om Jantr Nuea Tong Rakang Gala Ta Diaw Jarn Mer amulet is hand carved from a one eyed coconut. A one eyed coconut, or 'gala ta diaw', is very rare indeed. Its magic qualities will bring riches and good fortune. Moreover, due to the absence of a second hole, one's acquired wealth will not diminish; instead, it will be kept safely inside the coconut shell due to the magical aspects of 'ud sap'. Also, the Gala Ta Diaw one eyed coconut has kong grapan powers for protection, including the maha ud' gunstopper' spell. However, its maha pokasap powers are more prominent, which make the Pra Rahu Gala Ta Diaw a very powerful amulet to accumulate wealth and treasured possessions.
The amulet is carved by hand, and given hand inscriptions by Luang Por Prohm of Wat Ban Suan. The front face of the amulet is hand inscribed with Khom Agkhara letterings. Luang Por Prohm thus performed hand inscriptions of ancient sacred spells around the edge of the amulet. In the center of these sacred characters written in an ancient variant of Cambodian-Sanskrit, there is the image of Pra Rahu. The image of this Hindu-Buddhist deity is made from sacred temple brass ('nuea tong rakang'). Pra Rahu is depicted as holding the moon in his hands, ready to swallow it down his throat. Thai Buddhists believe, that when this event occurs, it causes the eclipses of the moon.
The rear face, too, features an image of Pra Rahu. As on the front face of the amulet, the image of Pra Rahu on the rear face also shows the Hindu-Buddhist deity making an attempt to swallow the moon. In his hands Pra Rahu holds a round disc featuring sacred Khom Agkhara letterings. And sacred spells are written above and below the image of Pra Rahu, too.
The sacred imagery of Pra Rahu gives the amulet powerful qualities of serm duang magic to improve one's fate, clearing thereby a person's unwholesome karma. Furthermore, Pra Rahu can help a person to improve his or her horoscope. A person's sincere acts of devotion directed towards Pra Rahu will appease the negative influentual factors which interfere with one's astrological alignment. In this way, properly performed bucha to Pra Rahu can help to restore one's spiritual harmony and balance.
Pra Rahu is able to remove obstacles of bad luck, to protect against black magic, and to defeat one's enemies. Hence, the faithful devotees of this deity will receive Pra Rahu's auspicious blessings of protection, luck, and prosperity. In addition, the empowerment performed by Luang Por Prohm makes the Pra Rahu Om Jantr a most powerful amulet to accumulate money and treasured possession.
