Pra Somdej Chae Nam Montr Pim Yai - Wat Mai Amataros (Bang Khun Prohm) - 2538 BE special edition created for the 2539 BE Celebrations of the Golden Jubilee of the Reign of His Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej.
Buddha Abhiseka Ceremony held on 20th March 2540 BE at 15:59 BE in the Uposadha Shrineroom. The amulets were comissioned and began to be made already in 2538 BE for the King's 50th Jubilee. and were blessed in the Chalong Siri Racha Sombadt Jubilee ceremony in 2539.
108 Master Monks attended the Ceremony to Chant the Dhamma Chakra in Buddha Abhiseka. This edition commemorated the 50th Year of Reign of His Majesty King Bhumpipol Adulyadej (King Rama 9), and was called 'Run Chalong Siri Racha Sombadt 50 Pi'. This edition is one of the preferred Classic editions along with 2500, 2509, 2517, 2537, and 2547 BE
This model is a 'Pim Pra Pratan', carrying a medium size of 3.5 x 2.5 Cm, and is slim and highly wearable, which is a classic feature of the Pra Somdej Bang Khun Prohm Pim Yai, and is suitable for all people, Men Women and Children to wear, due to its medium universal size. The Muan Sarn Sacred Powders for the amulets were taken in 2538 BE and collected, from a large number of Sacred Ingredients, including a large number of amulets from various famous editions of Pra Somdej Wat Bang Khun Prohm of yester-year, including;
Pra Somdej Wat Bang Khun Prohm Pi 2500, Pra Somdej Wat Bang Khun Prohm Pi 2509, Pra Somdej Wat Bang Khun Prohm Pi 2517, and Pra Somdej Wat Bang Khun Prohm Pi 2531 BE. The amulets were then soaked in Holy Prayer Water from the four Great Temples of Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri of Wat Rakang Kositaram, maker of the 4 famous Pra Somdej from these four temples; Wat Rakang Kositaram, Wat Bang Khun Prohm, Wat Intr, and Wat Gaes Chaiyo.
All of the four temples have preserved a continuing perpetual source of Nam Montr (Prayer Water) deriving from Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri himself over 150 Years ago, which has been renewed and added to by all the major chanting ceremonies of the four temple during the last one and a half Centuries.
The Prayer Water of Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri is of course considered the Holiest Prayer Water from the Great Master, and possesses the Highest Buddhakun Powers of Serm Duang, Kaa Khaay (good business), Klaew Klaad, Kong Grapan Chadtri and Metta Mahaniyom, Maha Lap.
The rear face of the amulet has the rubber ink stamp of the word 'Pised' as its traditional authenticity stamp, as is ubiquitous with Goranee Pised 2 Ceremony editions.The single ceremony 2540 Edition bore series code numbers and the Chedi Stupa instead of the words 'Pised' (meaning 'special').
Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri is seen as the Greatest Guru Monk of Thai History, with his status being incomparable to that of other Masters, due to the fact that his attainments were not only high as a practitioner of the Buddha Dhamma, but also as an eminent and influential figure in the Sangha, and indeed the Royal Palace.
There is no more famous amulet as the Pra Somdej Wat Rakang Kositaram Wat Bang Khun Prohm, Wat Gaes Chaiyo, and Wat Intraram (Bang Khun Prohm Nai)
The amulets contain Pong Kru (powders from the hiding place chamber, where Guru masters hide and deposit Muan Sarn Sacred Powders and Amulets, to be empowered with the chanting of the Monks in the temple, and later rediscovered in the future)
The edition was made with the following 3 Pim (models), and following numbers;
Pra Somdej Pim Yai - 42,000 Amulets made
Pra Somdej Pim Chedi - 17,000 Amulets made
Pra Somdej Pim Sen Daay - 25,000 Amulets made
Kata Pra Somdej

Make your wishes
Tammang Bprasittime
Sangkang Bprasittime
The above Kata is in truth one and the same as the Kata Aaraatanaa Pra Krueang, which is the general Kata used for all Buddhist Amulets, which you can hear and practice in the video tutorial posted above.
The amulet comes with the original Box Case from the Temple of Wat Bang Khun Prohm.
Here is another alternative Kata which can also be used for any kind of Somdej amulet;
Bpudtagaa Mo Sape Bpudtang Tanagaa Mo Lape Tanang Idti Gaye Yaaya Tewaanang Biyadtang Sudtawaa
Chant three times; make this practice regularly, and Metta Mahaniyom will enter into your life. You can make prayer water also with the amulet if you soak it in the bowl as you chant, then use the water to spray on your head or your clothes, wares you wish to sell etc.
