An extremely attractive Pim Putta Kwak Pim Prok Po Thaan Kha Dto (Beckoning Buddha Under Bodhi tree on Table Leg Dais), Hlang Yant Pised (preferred model with Yantra on rear face), made around 2495 BE from the Great Luang Phu Nak of Wat Rakang Kositaram.

The Pra Somdej Prok Po Pim Putta Kwak Thaan Kha Dto, is a most eminent and preferred amulet of the Grand Pantheon of this Master, whose amulets are all now considered to be preferred status. This exhibit is 'Nuea Graeng, hardened marble-like clay, with a crackled effect on the surface through atmospheric changes over time.

This crackled effect is known as 'Dtaek Lai Nga', meaning, 'Cracked Ivory Pattern', The Pim Putta Kwak is known for its Metta Maha Niyom and Jerajaa power to attract and charm customers and admirers, and is powerful Serm Duang Karma Improvement amulet.

The amulet is a slim Somdej suitable for those who like to wear a more subtle and less heavy to wear amulet. The Pra Somdej Putta Kwak weighs 9 grams, and measures 3.8 x 2.6 Cm, and is an extremely desirable acquisition for Devotees in need of Mercy Charm, and who wish to complete their collection. This model is like all models from this Master, now very rare to find, and a highly sought after amulet.

The rear face has the Yant Nam Tao Gourd Yantra, with Kata 'Na Mō Put Tā Ya' embossed. The dense hardened clay surface is smooth to touch, and hard as a domino, showing its authenticity through its dryness and the signs of ageing, using the criteria used by experts for authentication of sacred ancient amulets. The amulet is estimable for its sacred Power of the Muan Sarn Sacred Powders, made from broken pieces of Pra Somdej Wat Rakang Kositaram Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri amulets. This exhibit has a very crisp and clear relief with dry surface, and is highly defined, which is referred to in the special vocabulary of the amulet community as 'Nuea Jad' meaning 'highly defined with hardened density'. The other main kind of texture found in amulets of Luang Phu Nak, and indeed Wat Rakang Kositaram temple in General is 'Nuea Graeng', which is a less detailed and rougher admixture which results in a more rougher surface detail.

The features of the amulet are pristinely kept, and very clear detailed relief of the front face design is visible. Examination of the edges of the votive tablet serve to reveal the high content of Muan Sarn Sacred Powders from Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri's Pra Somdej Wat Rakang Kositaram Originals in the Admixture. The amulet has survived well over half a century (written in 2560 BE), and kept its pristine appearance. The amulet is hence extremely rare both for the Pim Niyom Status as well as for its incredibly pristine condition, worthy of entering into competition, or for certification for posterity.

The surface of the amulets of Luang Phu Nak have two distinct kinds of appearance; One is highly defined relief, which is referred to in the special vocabulary of the amulet community as 'Nuea Jad' meaning 'highly contrasted'. This kind of texture is usually dry and hard but having a porous or powdery surface appearance, which may even look 'fuzzy'. The other main kind of texture found in amulets of Luang Phu Nak (and ancient Sacred Powder amulets in general), is 'Nuea Graeng'. Nuea Graeng is a more marble-like rough surface (but smoothed edges) domino-dense admixture which despite dryness, tends to have a shiny 'wet-look' to it. This are the amulets which are considered to contain the highest quantity of Pra Somdej Wat Rakang Kositaram.

Highly Favoured for its powerful Muan Sarn Sacred Powders and Blessings, and is a recommendable amulet for devotees of Luang Phu Nak, and/or Wat Rakang Kositaram and Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri, as a Top Class amulet of high Pedigree. Luang Phu Nak is known to have released editions in the years 2499, 2500, 2504, 2507 and 2509 BE and his final edition Sae Yid 7 Rorb of 2511 BE, as well as releasing editions at other temples.

Luang Phu Nak used more old Pra Somdej amulets from Somdej Pra Puttajarn Dto Prohmrangsri, than any other of the Pra Somdej amulet makers of Wat Rakang History of all time. These amulets are the perfect and best second choice to the Pra Somdej Wat Rakang amulets made by Somdej Dto Prohmrangsri which have now become either unavailable, or too expensive to even consider renting.

The amulets were made using the following ingredients

Powder from the chalk sticks used in the making of Pong Saksit (sacred powder for amulet making), Rice fragments kept by Luang Por Dto, the 5 Sacred Powders of; 1. Pong Putta Kun, 2. Pong Bpatamang, 3. Pong Trinisinghae, 4. Pong Maha Rach, 5. Pong Itti Jae Powder. The chalks used in the making of the Bpatamang, Trinisinghe Maharach and Itijae powders were mixed with sacred water that squeezed from the leaves of seven kinds of Thai plant including Bai Tamlueng , Yord Sawad, Yod Ga Hlong, Yod Raksorn,Chaiyapruek, Rachapreuk and Dork Mali (jasmine).

All of the ingredients of the Wat Rakang amulets were mixed with;

Nuea Pong (powder substances), Klee Saema (broken pieces of temple wall stones, Gaesorn Sut Bongot (pollen from the Bongot lotus flower), Kluay Nam Tai (a kind of Thai banana) mixed with sap from the rubber tree (Yang Madtum), Plueak Hoy (white clam shells), Nam Man Jantr (jasmine oil), Nam Man Dtang Iw (aromatic resinous oil used to congeal and cement the amulet mix with). One hundred and eight kinds of flowers collected by LP Dto Prohmrangsri, Sacred powders and pollens (Pong Saksit), Pong Bpatamang - Klaew Klaad Kong Grapan, (protection from injury and accidents), Pong Puttakun - for great charm and avoid danger (Maha Sanaeh and Klaew Klaad magic), Pong Tri Ni Singhe - attractiveness, Pong Maha Rach - power and respect.

The Pra Somdej amulets made by Luang Phu Nak contained a massive quantity of crushed up Pra Somdej amulets made by Somdej Dto Prohmrangsri of Wat Rakang, which Luang Phu Nak had collected over the years, from Looksit who brought their broken amulets to return to the Temple, as well as a sackful he found in the roof of the Prayer Room ('Bote' in Thai).

They are thus the second choice of those wishing to posess the magic of Pra Somdej Wat Rakang LP Dto Prohmrangsri. Luang Phu Nak believed that the Pra Somdej amulets made by Somdej Dto had inimitable magical qualities and special power within the Muan Sarn (sacred powder used to make the amulets), and because of the meditative power of Somdej Dto who blessed them. Therefore apart from being made by one of Thailands great gaeji Ajarn, and being an authentic ancient Wat Rakang Amulet, it is also Sacred for the fact that it contaiins original Somdej Dto Wat Rakang Amulets in the Sacred Powder mixture.

This renders them even more powerful through the incantations and Yantra Inscriptions of Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri himself, through transmission of Muan Sarn Sacred Powders. This happened as collectors from around South-East asia and the Western world began to collect them as a second choice to the now completely out of reach Pra Somdej Wat Rakang Kositaram of Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri.

We would say that Luang Phu Nak's amulets are perhaps the most highly sought after in the present Era by those devotees of Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri and Wat Rakang Kositaram, because they are 'the next best thing' to a Priceless Pra Somdej Wat Rakang Kositaram Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri amulet. Amongst the other amulets which are sought after by the devotee of this lineage, are those of Luang Phu Hin, Jao Khun Tiang, both being Masters of the Wat Rakang Kositaram lineage, and who all have made amulets in conjunction with each other, and joined together in blessing ceremonies at Wat Rakang Kositaram.

The amulets of Luang Phu Nak tend to be very popular in the present era, as the best and most afforable way to Bucha the Pra Somdej Wat rakang, knowing the amulet is made almost exlusively from purely broken pieces of the original Pra Somdej of Somdej Dto Prohmrangsri. The next best thing, so to say. Other masters who enjoy popularity with devotees of Wat rakang are Luang Phu Hin, and the Great Jao Khun Tiang. The great Luang Ta Pan may also be worthy of Mention, although his fame came from making amulets at Wat Bang Khun Prohm, which is also one of the top amulet temples of the Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri lineage, and which are mostly also collected by devotees of Wat Rakang Kositaram.

In Thai, we call this 'Dtragun Diawgan' which means 'same family tree'. In our opinion, these are perhaps the next best thing to an original Somdej Dto, for an affordable price. Sacred Thai Amulets are intended primarily as Puttanussadti (remembrance and respect to the Buddha), especially Pra Somdej.

Of course anybody would wish to own a Pra Somdej of the great Somdej Pra Puttajarn (Dto) Prohmrangsri, for his legendary Powers and Attainments, but realistically speaking, most people should look to something more affordable of similar calibre, for which the Pra Somdej Wat Rakang Kositaram Luang Phu Nak is a perfect recommendation for they contain the original Somdej Dto amulets within their Sacred Powders.

Recent years saw great fervour in the collector scene and the international scene, which has caused the amulets of Luang Phu Nak to go from rare, to become extreme rarities. They are no longer easily found, and their numbers have dwindled to become highly noticeable.

This has merely served to increase the fervour, and the very last amulets are now fast disappearing from the amulet scene, as they are snapped up and kept by their owners. If there was a time to hurry for amulets from this Master, the time is Now. The chances of owning an amulet like this are becoming less and less in recent years, and soon it will be practically impossible to obtain authentic old Wat Rakang amulets. There are ever more collectors and ever less amulets on the market, and there is no higher esteemed amulet than the Pra Somdej Wat Rakang Kositaram family.
