Luang Pi ya is a top and one of the senior Sak yant Masters at Wat bang Pra, and is along with Luang Pi Thoy and Luang Pi Nan the administrators of the yearly Wai Kroo Festival to Luang Por Phern Tidtakuno At Wat Bang Pra. The Wicha Dam Der Daeng Gere, usually separates Dam Der from Daeng Gere as two separate entities, apart from each other, not identical in appearance.
Dam Der is recognizable for not holding anything in his hands, which he holds up above his head, arms in the air. Daeng Gere in contrast, is often portrayed holding weapons above his head.
Dam Der and Daeng Gere are Animist Spirit Entity Images, which are reputed to date from Ayuttaya times. There is little or no documentation to confirm age or origins of the story, but it is known to come from Ancient Folklore supposedly based on two real people. Dam Der Daeng Gere is a which became popular as a Sak Yant Thai Temple Tattoos, made famous by Luang Por Phern of Wat Bang Pra.
