Mai Kroo Dtapot Por Gae Dtamrap Dtamnak Dtak Sila Khao Or - Nuea Mai Payung Daeng - Luang Por Prohm Wat Ban Suan.
This particular kind of Magick Wand, is made from a very rare kind of sacred wood, called Mai Payung Daeng. There are various kinds of the sacred tree, which produce different colored wood, from white, through red, to brown and black.
The wands, have been empowered by Luang Por Prohm, Master Guru Monk, and Abbot of Wat Ban Suan. He has inscribed them with sacred spells and blessings, using ancient Khmer Sanskrit lettering known as 'Agkhara Khom'.
Luang Por Prohm is the Abbot of Wat ban Suan, the temple of the great Khao Or Sorcery Liineage Master, Luang Por Kong, and is the direct lineage transmittion Master of this school of Sorcery of the Dtamnak Dtak Sila Khao Or, so famous for the Laymaster Ajarn Chum Chai Kiree.

Luang Por Prohm's magical inscriptions can be seen written along the length of the wand, wich is an authentically empowered and sacred wand of a truly ancient academy of Sorcery. The Dtamnak Dtak Sila Khao Or, is considered to be the oldest and most poerful of all surviving Thai Magical Traditions.

The metal tip of the wand, has a Takrut Spell inserted, and we assume also sacred relics within the shaft of the wand. The tip is sealed with a sacred herbal resin paste.

The Mai Kroo Dtapot Por Gae is a magic wand which is hand carved from holy wood that was given to Luang Por Prohm by his followers. The holy wood was obtained from a sacred tree in which a powerful tree spirit resided. Due to the inhabiting deva, the holy wood used for making this mai kroo is believed to contain strong magical powers for ritual use.
After the wood had been carved and topped with a metallic butt, in the traditional shape of a magic wand with a rounded head ('mai dtapot'), Luang Por Prohm then consecrated the mai kroo through chanting of various prayers. Next, he immersed the magic wand in holy prayer water to absorb the auspicious blessings dwelling within the sacred bowl with prayer water. In the final stage of the consecration ritual, Luang Por Prohm performed hand inscriptions with sacred Khom Agkhara spells upon the Mai Kroo Dtapot Por Gae. And so, the mai kroo is individually blessed by Luang Por Prohm himself, after which the magic wand received sacred inscriptions by the hands of this great master of the famous Khao Or lineage.
Apart from the various magic wands, the temple of Wat Ban Suan also released various amulets, ritual daggers, holy prayer water bowls, and individual pieces of lek lai. Since each of the items from this edition received individual empowerments performed by Luang Por Prohm, they are all considered very powerful items indeed. This is perhaps not so surprising, because considering the nummerous wicha Luang Por Prohm has mastered throughout the years, this great master obviously possesses strong psychic powers that are required to successfully perform magic and to empower ritual instruments
In the olden days, the various forms of ritual practices were applied only on rare occasions, such as official ceremonies and national holy days. In addition, the Mai Kroo wand is used for making holy water, blessing (and cursing by dark sorcery in some circles). The wands of the Khao or Masters are also enabled with the Khee Bpen Khee Dtaay sorcery that allows good or bad energy to be sucked out using the butt of the wand, and to be embedded or shot out, using the tip.
