Pra Maha Wirawongs, is an Aged Gaeji Ajarn Guru Master of the Dhammayut Lineage, and the the Abbot of Wat Sampant Wongs temple, and official representative of the State Somdej Sangkaracha Head Monk of Thailand. He is direct Looksit of the Legendary Ajarn Singh. Luang Por Pra Maha Wirawongs travelled on Tudong together with Ajarn Singh, and was brought to be mentored, and learned with the two great Masters, Ajarn Mun Puratto and Ajarn Sao.

Luang Por Pra Maha Wirawongs was born on the 29th December 2460 BE, in the Province of Amnaj Jaroen. He was ordained in the Year 2472 at Wat Ban Bor Chaneng, Pra Maha Wirawongs, is the Chairman of the Maha Thera Somakom *association of Maha Thera Monks, meaning monks who have been ordained for over twenty years).

He holds a Master Degree (Bprian Gao) Ninth level Mastery of Pali Sanskrit and Dhamma Sciences, making him a Professor of Dhamma. He began his studies in the Pariyatti Dhamma (Theoretical Dhamma), in the year 2474 BE, reaching the Batchelor of Arts level in 2476 BE, and his Doctorate in 2478 BE. He then rose to Bprian 4 in 2481 BE, Bprian 5 in 2484BE, Bprian 6 in 2486 BE, Bprian 7 in 2488 BE, Bprian 8 in 2492, and the Final Bprian 9 Master Degree in 2499 BE, topping a very rapid and exceptional advancement in the Pariyatti Dhamma

He is one of the higher Arya Sangha Monks of Thailand in the present Era, and a Monk of Great Purity and Diligence in the true practice of Vinaya Canon, which means, that he adheres to the strictest and most highly developed rules of self restraint, which is only possible for a Monk of Great Attainments in Self Mastery.
