The Pra Rahu Maha Yok eclipse god amulet is composed of the rare and powerful maha ud (no eyes) coconut shell, sacred powders, 9 takrut. The purpose of this edition was to raise funds to restore delapidated parts of Wat Intaram temple and other public service projects. Rahu improves even the most unlucky and terrible bad horoscopes and inauspicious alignments, raising the line of fate above the unlucky spheres to enter into the auspicious and fortunate lines of destiny.
Luang Phu Phon is an old monk of the olden days traditions, who was deeply immersed in the studies of Khom Angkhara sacred lettering, sacred geometry of yantra and magical incantations ever since he was a small boy. Because of this, when he ordained, he was already posessed with many powerful wicha from his practices. His most famous wicha is that of 'Pra Rahu Maha Yok', which is reputed to have true power to really turn the bad luck into good luck, and flip fate around.
Because of the astrological alignments upcoming for 2013 (2556 BE), Luang Phu Phon has foreseen the inauspicious influences that will pass over the world, and bring many unlucky influences for many people all over the planet. To help counteract this at least with his devotees, the Rahu Maha Yok has been made to try to fend of the extremely unlucky influences of Pra Rahu that are about to befall the humans this year. Especially if you were born in the year of the jor (dog), chalu (cow), ma mae (goat), ma roeng (dragon), or year of the tho (rabbit), you need to use Pra Rahu to appease the inauspicious astrological influences. Because this is the time when the jao gam nai waen (accumulated anger of those we have wronged) is about to come to give paybacks for ill deeds from this and previous lifetimes.
The influence of Rahu will be felt most strongly in the first half of 2012, after which it will begin to dwindle. But without the help of Pra Rahu, no profits or prospering will be made this year, only maintaining one's status at the same level with great effort to not become poorer. The only way to profit this year is to bucha Rahu to appease the extremely limiting astrological alignments for those born under the starsigns that will fall most into Rahu's shadow.
The Pra Rahu amulet of Luang Phu Phon was made in two versions; one with nine takrut, and one with six takrut. This is the ongk kroo nine takrut version. In addition, a series of Buddha images as mini loi ongk statuettes were also released, and a special limited edition bamboo takrut.
The coconut shell used for the amulets was carved from 'gala maha ud' which is the most powerful kind of one-eyed coconut with maha pokasap riches and maha ud protection powers. Gala maha ud is a coconut without an eye, which is the only coconut more powerful magic than the one-eyed gala ta diaw. Because the gala maha ud has no eyes (openings), it is considered to not allow riches, treasures or accumulated merits to seep out again, thereby making its owner's household a treasure cave that can not be emptied, for it has no exit. Luang Phu Phon spent three years collecting enough coconuts to make this series, some of which were albino coconuts (immensely rare to find, and immensely powerful in effect). One reason as to why Luang Phu Phon chose to use no-eyed coconuts, was because they remove future karma by removing them from sight (no eyes).
The nine takrut in this ongk kroo version are the Nava Lokuttara Dhamma ('Nine Unworldly Dhammas'), which are stuffed into pong Prajao yok chadtra ('Lord Buddha Lifting the Parasol'). These spells raise your line of fate, luck lines, and wealth lines. Ploi sek (enchanted gemstones for pokasap riches) are inserted, and original powders from ancient lersi and kroo ba ajarns of the ancient times that were passed down through the lineage of masters to Luang Phu Phon.
1499 amulets were made in ongk kroo version.
